Best Non-Organic Fruits And Vegetables

When seeking out organic fruits and vegetables for you and your family, money can be an issue.  Since a lot of organic produce is higher than the non-organic stuff you find at the supermarket (for a lot less money), it is really hard to break the budget for an apple.  But, you really want to know about the pesticide levels in fruits and vegetables that you are buying.Which are the best non-organic fruits and vegetables for you to buy at the store without too much worry on what kinds of chemicals are on them?

According to some studies and some medical experts, there are certain fruits and veggies that resist the pesticides better than others.  This means that there are not as many chemicals embedded in certain foods as there are in others.

Here is a short list of the best non-organic fruits and vegetables for you to buy: broccoli, sweet corn, mangoes, sweet peas, bananas, avocados, kiwi, onions, and pineapples.  Cauliflower and asparagus also make the list, but it is sometimes hard to get a picky child to eat these two.  So, when you are out searching for lower pesticide enriched foods to serve your family, just remember these few that are pretty resilient to the chemicals.

Now, for the really major offenders, the fruits and vegetables who just soak up the chemicals.  The ones that you really want to try to stay away from, buy organically, or clean with the pesticide food soaps that are out now.  Here they are, in their “bad-apple” lineup: bell peppers (all colors), cherries, peaches, apples, potatoes, strawberries, pears, grapes, and celery.  While it seems that these are all of the popular fruits and veggies that you and your family will actually eat, it might be better to go ahead an splurge on them or buy the pesticide removing soap that you can find at some supermarkets or health food stores.

While none of these fruits of veggies will kill you from the pesticides right away, you are at a higher risk for cancers and other problems that go along with exposure to pesticides.  So, it is up to you to weigh out your money and your health and make up your mind about which way is right for you.
